"Transformation. The Apostle Paul wrote about many things in his letters in the New Testament, but a common thread was transformation. Changing from the inside out. Here are some transformational words in just one chapter in Colossians chapter 3, " Set your minds on things above, Put to death whatever belongs to your earthly nature, you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, bear with each other, forgive as the Lord forgave you, let the peace of Christ rule in Your hearts, be thankful, sing psalms hymns and spiritual songs..." There were many more words yet, but the point of all of Paul's letters was to say, "People if you are going to choose to follow Christ then you should be transformed. You should no longer cast the shadow of your old life, it should shine brightly with the Light of Christ!" "Heavenly Father, give us the courage to have a surrendered heart and mind that is willing to be changed from our old way of thinking and living to Your new Way. We acknowledge that this transformation doesn't stop, unlike the butterfly in the picture who has broken free from the cocoon and morphed into a creature of beauty, its transformation complete. Our transformation is on going. Holy Spirit we are yours. Amen"
