Lead Pastor: Reverend Lewis Hauer
I grew up on a farm just outside of Bruderheim, Alberta. I was blessed to be a part of a large family of which I was the youngest of 6 siblings. I completed my undergraduate degree and my masters at Canadian Bible College and Canadian Theological Seminary (now known as Ambrose University College). For over 11 years I have been privileged to be a part of and serve the Revelstoke Alliance Church as the Lead Pastor. As Lead Pastor I work with the Directors, Staff and Board of Elders. My main role is to preach, teach, and provide leadership to the vision and mission of what it means to be the church. My wife Kari and I have three children, Josiah, Caleb, and Rayne. We love living in Revelstoke with the beauty of the mountains, the snowy winters and the wonderful people who live in this special community.
Music and Administration Pastor: Reverend Matthew Carter
My wife, Renee, and I have four children. We grew up in Revelstoke and so it is such a joy to live in our beautiful city and be able to serve in our home church. I have been serving as the Music and Arts Pastor here at the Revelstoke Alliance Church in a part-time staff position since November 2000. In the Spring of 2010 I became a fulltime employee at the church as the Music and Administration Pastor. In the Admin department I oversee everything from the Sunday bulletins, to ordering church supplies, as well as a list of other office duties. Musically I oversee anything to do with the Sunday services (music, prayer, Scripture Readers, Sound Tech, power Point Operators etc), drama, computer technical stuff, video, power point presentations and church décor. I am also responsible for our special gatherings like Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday, Vertical, The Refuge, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Advent. My wife and I both enjoy living an active lifestyle, music, being in the great outdoors, playing with our kids and hanging with friends!
Church Finances: Mrs. Robyn Giroux
Larry and I have been married 40 years and have three grown children who are all married and have provided us with 11 delightful grandchildren. I came on staff at the Revelstoke Alliance Church in 2005 as the Office Administrator. In the Spring of 2010 I moved into a strictly book keeping role dealing with all of the financial matters of the church as well as assisting the Eldership and Treasurer in financial reports etc. It is a privilege for me to serve my church in this way.
